Delivery

We deliver to most parts of mainland UK via next day AM delivery. However in some parts of northern Scotland delivery will be delayed to 4pm and in the most remote post codes a 2 day service will be used. Please call 01228 542924 if you have any questions regarding delivery. Local deliveries will be made by our own Veichles (see list of postcodes below).

Who will deliver my Fish?

For National Deliveries we use an overnight courier called DHL. We have a longstanding relationship with this company and have been using them for a good few years now. They are very professional and reliable courier and deliver most orders by midday, on a rare occasion it may be early afternoon before delivery is made so please be patient.

Local deliveries will be delivered by our own veichles on the designated days above. 

How much is delivery?

For national deliveries, orders under £60 are subject to a £9.95 delivery charge; this covers a weight of up to 20KG. Orders over £60 are delivered free of charge. Saturday deliveries are available, but are subject to a £20 charge which is always payable.

For Local deliveries, orders under £40 are subject to a £9.95 delivery charge. Orders over £40 are delivered free of charge, on the designated days listed above.

How will my fish be packaged?

Your fish will be delivered in a sealed polystyrene box with freezer packs to keep everything cool. All fish will be vacuum packed or in sealed bags ready to cook or put in the freezer. All items will be labelled with storage instructions and a shelf life.

When will my fish be delivered?

Your fish can be delivered the next day if your order is received before 10am. Items will be delivered on a Wednesday, friday, or Saturday although Saturday deliveries are subject to a charge of £20 and is always payable. You simply choose your delivery date at checkout; remember you can order up to 3 weeks in advance. So order early to avoid disappointment. All orders are sent via next day AM delivery so will be received before midday, on rare occasions it may be early afternoon before deliveries are made so please be patient.

What happens if I’m not home when my fish is delivered?

Many of our customers leave instructions for the courier to leave it with a neighbour or to leave it in a specified safe place. If left unsigned for we can accept no liability for any loss or damage caused. Some of our customers simply get there orders delivered to work, this is no problem, simply give us the address and we will send it there.
